ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Read blueprints/specifications. Set-up, using prototype packet and/or brake process sheet to determine correct dies.
Form, punch, notch, align, dies per process sheet. Set, tighten, adjust; use hold down bolts, shims, ram bolts/clamps to obtain required dimensions or tolerances. Check dimensions with caliper and make adjustments where necessary. In process QA and document results as required. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Form new items/prototypes. Move dies and material
by hand truck or forklift. Interface with other team members. Complete related paperwork (quality check sheet, move tickets, etc.). Clean-up equipment, dies, and work areas daily.
Organize work area and tools required for job. Perform minor maintenance and PM press brake. Perform any other incidental function related to the classification and those created by change in methods/procedures, as well as equipment. REQUIREMENTS: Read, understand and follow written and oral instructions. Frequent physical functions; walk, bend push pull, grasp, and other unnatural positions. Stand for a minimum of eight hours per day, on a regular daily basis, during normal shift hours. Physical effort
