The goal is to ensure that production processes continue to deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable, safe manner with no downtime.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3 pm - 11 pm ( Will train 7am - 3pm ) Duties and Responsibilities Performs basic maintenance on the machines; support refractory replacements and repairs. Sets up machinery and casting molds; start and end the process. Controls melt level and melt coverage; slagging of the furnace as required. Replenish consumables and

raw material. Ensures correct layering and fill levels. Performs leak testing on casting molds. Completes scheduled checks for spotting malfunctions and unsafe conditions, reports and corrections.

Tightly monitor process parameters, especially cooling water, gas flow and temperatures; adjusting as needed; calls for help if uncertain. Responds to emergency situations, making decisions quickly and efficiently; time is of the essence. Effectively and immediately communicate problems, safety issues and quality deficiencies.
