This job reports to the Controller. Essential Functions: Maintains a perpetual inventory on all maintenance materials, determines where items may be obtained, secures price quotations, compares prices, and completes requisition forms and purchase orders for those materials or supplies needed.
Secures all needed materials on a timely basis. Verifies items, upon receipt, for discrepancies. Delivers various office supplies and equipment as requested by designated staff. Monitors and performs periodic audits on maintenance inventory. In turn, preparing
periodic maintenance parts forecasts, dollars budgeted versus dollars spent. Executes contractual agreements for the purchase of equipment and required services.
Arranges for Company or outside truck carriers to conform with materials on timely basis. Enter information from the receivers into the PO Receipt program to be later used by Accounts Payable. Also, verifies quantity and price when asked by Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies. Enter vendor data, new & changes, after approval by Accounting Manager or Controller. Additional duties may be required. Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned Skills or Experience Required: High School Diploma plus three (3) years of
applicable experience is preferred. Other Position Demands or Requirements: Must have proficiency in various computer software programs such as IT business system, Microsoft Excel and Windows.
Must be detail-oriented and able to work accurately while meeting assigned deadlines. Must be willing to flex work hours based on operational demand.
