This team oriented & success driven individual will be involved in the day-to-day operation of machinery centers including Komo, Biesse and Innova using Auto CAD, Router Cim & G-Code.
Materials include woods, plastics and non-ferrous metals. The operator sets up and controls the operation of single or multiple computers numerically controlled (CNC) production machines for the process of manufacturing products. Each machine has its own configuration
of routers, drill banks, tool magazines and saw heads. A CNC Machine Operator feeds high quality, cut materials to the rest of the plant for assembly and packaging to our customers.
Candidates most successful in this position will have a proven track record of attention to detail, highly dependable and self-motivated. Common work duties include: Setup CNC machine Understanding of manufacturing process and interaction with other departments Follow detailed drawings to specific measurements while maintaining quality and timely production. Responsible for quality check to ensure accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. What experience and skills do I need to
be successful? 1-2 years of machine operation experience, on same/like machines a plus Experience with wood and plastics preferred Excellent attention to detail and quality focused Able to lift 50 to 70lbs frequently; walk and stand for long periods of time Must have outstanding communication skills.
General understanding of materials and manufacturing processes What will my schedule look like? This is an hourly role working on first shift 6a-2:30p, with a 30-minute lunch. We can be flexible on start and end times as long as you are meeting business needs. Hourly team members typically work 40 hours each week and during high business need, overtime is offered on Saturdays.

1 year of experience in woodworking including furniture or cabinet making Ability to work on your feet, lift heavy objects up to 70 lbs. and perform the other physical aspects of custom cabinet manufacturing Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a definite plus!
