codes, and contract specifications. Project Engineer Overview: The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in collecting cost data, monitoring project budgets, and estimating. This position requires the application of resource monitoring and control principles, techniques, and technical knowledge of construction projects.

What you will be doing: Conduct meetings with engineering and field crews to review the production schedule and ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and resources for timely production within the allocated budget. Review all shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data throughout the project duration to ensure compliance with

quality and contract specifications. Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling, identifying potential risk factors related to production, materials, equipment, or processes that could impact the budget or schedule.

Evaluate daily production, schedule, and budget projections to accurately track project performance. Document daily activities using approved methods and technologies. Update the project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting. Attend weekly owner meetings and present project production status as necessary. Perform additional assignments as directed by management. Prepare and manage a three-week work plan. Notify engineering and project management

of any significant schedule changes and develop solutions to mitigate delays and costs.

Initiate and manage all Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed for the project. Ensure accurate project quantities using assigned project cost coding to ensure accurate reporting of project financials. Manage invoicing with the Company accounting team for materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs. Support the engineering team with quality assurance as needed. Review certificates and permits required for work. Participate in all worksite tours with leadership or external parties. Review the required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for all construction personnel.

Participate in all weekly safety meetings with the field team and project leadership and present field analysis as needed. Assist the estimating team with project schedule, budget, and cost parameters by providing technical input as needed. Assist in the development of design drawings and provide technical input as required. Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule, and crews as needed. Reconcile the job close-out checklist with the owner representative and field crews at the project's completion. Maintain knowledge of the Company's values and strategic plan.

What we are looking for: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Minimum of 5 years of construction engineering experience. Experience in resource monitoring techniques (e. g. cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems, and/or structures is preferred. Specialized technical knowledge of design-build or other alternative build techniques. Ability to set clear expectations for direct reports regarding roles and responsibilities. Ability to delegate and assign work to the engineering team to progress project production. Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks and drive them towards a common goal.

Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices. Ability to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Knowledge of design-build and other alternative build techniques. Knowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods, and cost coding. Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management is preferred. Ability to assume responsibility, effectively interface, and communicate with others.
