within the company as well as outside of the organization. YOUR IMPACT: The responsibilities for this role will include partnering with our overall Navigation IPT to determine how to best integrate our Navigation architecture and designs into our software architecture.

The software is intended to be used on the platforms of today and the future. The position will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in developing a system that will be used in support of our Mission Systems objectives as well as our Vehicle Management Systems functionality requirements. This position offers a motivated engineer the opportunity to have a high impact on a productive program as they grow

their own skillset. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Viewed as a senior authority in discipline and the technical leader responsible for development across a team of individuals. Experience with C and/or C++. Experience with MATLAB and Simulink. Experience with Linux or RTOS (real time operating systems) and associated development toolchains. Experience with the software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking). Experience with the Software Design and Development lifecycle (e.

g. peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking). Experience developing plans and successfully implementing and delivering functionality. Experience integrating multiple SW components. Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered. Desired Skills: Experience with distributed / virtual teams. Experience with IP based communication protocols, Open Mission Systems, or Universal Command and Control Interface standards. Experience with a functional simulation environment to support software development, integration, and test.

Ability to integrate architecture, and design with minimal direction. Experience collecting and analyzing SW performance measurements and incorporating changes to improve performance Experience leading teams. Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
