Who You Are This Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Engineering and Technology leader will be a manager for the F-35 Pilot Systems Software (PSSW) Team within the Displays team in Combat Core Systems.
They will be responsible for resource, functional, cost and technology management for portions of the F-35 Multi-function Display and Helmet Mounted Display domains. In addition, they will be responsible for leading a team of engineers through the full software development life cycle to produce
embedded display software for the F-35. This individual will collaborate with other stakeholders across the F-35 line of business to ensure software products are developed and delivered per program schedule to support software integration and flight test.
They will develop strategies and continue to lead the adoption and maturation of modern software development methods (Dev Sec Ops pipelines, automation technologies, etc. ) across PSSW in alignment with Engineering & Technology roadmaps. Effectively participates and contributes in telecoms and meetings with the overseas based engineers and program management by applying engineering knowledge, discussing manufacturing issues, and also suggesting potential seat development topics and innovations. Verifies use of appropriate materials according to their usage on the seat using advanced knowledge. Monitor capacity planning and tracking for all engineering tasks on assigned projects. Requirements: Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree required in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering field with 2-7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
