RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with others at the Site to ensure the satellite missions are operating appropriately, and meeting mission goals Support anomaly analysis when issues arise with VMOC or the missions in general Maintain records of actions taken and decisions made with VMOC operationally for all missions Collaborate with the VMOC development team to provide feedback for operations (bugs & feature improvements) and coordinate software updates REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be a US citizen Active Do D Secret clearance required ; with the ability to obtain a TS
clearance BS in relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineer, Information Technology) and/or relevant experience Minimum of 3 years’ overall professional experience Basic knowledge of Linux: basic terminal commands and Red Hat desktop usage Database usage: concepts of database usage & SQL commands Excellent communication and teamwork skills Problem solving capabilities to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with operations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS General experience and/or knowledge of satellites and satellite operations Software Testing or Development background Basic scripting knowledge SGSS is passionate about making our nation the undisputed leader in Space because we understand that
