in developing software for modeling and simulation of physical phenomena within a 3D geometric modeling environment. The candidate should be familiar with data modeling and building conceptual and logical data models as well as improving/optimizing/tuning existing algorithms and developing new algorithms from scratch.

This will include software design, software development, and debugging/issue resolution. The candidate should demonstrate a hands-on approach to problem-solving and must be willing to actively participate in the evaluation of algorithm and system performance. requirements for access to classified information) + BS with 2 - 4 years of experience or MS with 0 - 2 years in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a closely related field + Experience with at least one modern software development ecosystem (Python, Java, C++) and interest in learning others + Team player with excellent communication skills Software Engineer Preferences + Strong foundation in software development and experience with C++ + Experience building conceptual and logical data models + Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) such as IFC + Experience with Autodesk Revit or similar tool Who is ARA?
