Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Embedded Software/Senior Principal Embedded Software Engineer to support the Embedded Software
and Digital Technologies group. As part of our Software and Digital Technologies Organization you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation to help develop, enhance and maintain software on cutting edge products and systems.
Candidates will work on software systems for mission systems in all phases of the software development lifecycle, primarily in C/C++. As part of our Software Engineering Team in Mission Systems you will be responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software that contains logical and mathematical solutions.
As part of our Embedded Software Engineering Team in Mission Systems you will be responsible for designing, developing, operating and maintaining software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific and manufacturing requirements. Salary Range: $102,400 - $153,600 Salary Range 2: $127,000 - $190,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Machine Setup and Operation: Set up Haas CNC Mills, including loading tools, fixtures, and materials. Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to job orders. Quality Assurance: Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure the accuracy and quality of machined parts. Make necessary adjustments to programs and machine settings to meet quality standards. Maintenance and
Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address any mechanical or technical issues.
