Primary Duties Work directly with clients to provide engineering solutions and debugging support Develop custom Java applications per client specifications Identify and develop enhancements to existing applications Develop software application tests and testing strategies Script solutions to automate manual processes Follow version control processes Develop solutions to strengthen the security in and around applications Leverage application metrics to inform technical and business decisions Analyze industry specific requirements/technologies and provide insight Automate administrative tasks using configuration management tools, such as Ansible

S. Citizenship Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Bachelor's degree in IT discipline or additional 6 years' experience 7 years' experience in computer programming and analysis of complex information systems, application, or operating system software 5 years' java development experience Desired Skills: 3+ years' debugging and managing Services / Applications in Production environments 3+ years' integration, systems analysis, or programming experience 2+ years' experience with Apache/Tomcat Experience creating/working with custom Java applications Experience supporting/creating REST and SOAP applications
