As a key technical contributor, your responsibilities will include devising critical technology solutions across a range of technical areas within various business functions, all in support of the firm's business goals.

Job responsibilities Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by

others Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies Engineers a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving.

Ensures quality and completeness of the product through unit,

component, integration, and end-to-end testing. Promotes and participates in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value.

Contributes and collaborates in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing enterprise technologies and infrastructure. Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience. Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Advanced in one or more programming language(s) Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security Understanding of software design patterns and paradigms, such as object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming (FP).

Expertise on React, Java Script, Type Script and other web technologies for implementing web applications. Experience in unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing including the use of libraries like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Selenium, etc.

Good experience with Single Page Application (SPA) development. Experience in page optimization (performance), understanding of performance consideration for React or other SPA-based web applications Good experience architecting and implementing RESTful web services. Strong hands-on coding experience and strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Knowledge and experience with Cloud related technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Heroku, GKP/EKS, AWS EC2, etc. Hands-on experience with relational databases, Graph QL and integrating these with web services.

Good experience in customizing CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation as well as CSS pre-processors like Less or Sass. Good understanding of Material UI, Chakra UI, or similar component libraries. Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Server-Side Generation) preferably using Next. js. Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development (BDD) Deep understanding of web application analytics and observability tooling (e. g.
