Click here to learn more about Frank Crum! The Role You'll Play to Create Success We are happy to announce a full-time S oftware Development Manager position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the Frank Crum business everyday by supporting the research, design, and development of computer software systems in conjunction with hardware product development. Exercises

independent judgement and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning, and tracking project progress. Consults with managers or other personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required.

Assigns duties and reviews work of software developers. Oversees the design, architecture, development, and modification of applications, including prototypes developed by the software development teams. Creates and enforces usage of standards, best practices, and guidelines by team members. Works with architecture group as a key member and software developers to analyze and implement new technologies,

programming methodologies, patterns, and best practices. Establishes and enforces appropriate unit testing within the development teams to ensure code is ready to move into the Quality Assurance process.

Establishes and monitors team & developer metrics relating to velocity, capacity, and quality. Revises or directs revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Assists in administration of personnel functions including recruiting, review of job descriptions and selection and placement of personnel. Trains subordinates in software design and program coding.

Works with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods. Prepares records and reports. The Attributes We Seek Keys to success in this position include having three (3) years of experience developing software or six (6) years of experience developing other software with project management experience. A minimum three (3) years of associate software development experience. High level of project and people management skills within a software development environment needed. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or equivalent, is required.
