Position Summary The Senior Technologist I, System Administrator will involve the installation, configuration, and daily maintenance of Oceaneering's physical datacenter, identity management systems, server operating systems, server virtualization platforms, and other tools and

hardware associated with infrastructure operations. This role works as a team contributor and should be fully-proficient in certain areas of IT Operations.

The role will perform day-to-day duties such as: resolving escalated Level II and III support tickets; assisting other admins with tasks, project work, and documentation; mentoring and training team members on areas of expertise; and working independently with minimal supervision. General work direction is given and completed assignments and / or work is reviewed to ensure compliance with processes, standards, and policies of Oceaneering. Duties & Responsibilities Identity Management (Active Directory, Azure AD, MIM) Datacenter and hardware management (amber light remediation, rack & stack, cable management, etc) Automation and scripting (Powershell, MS Graph API, batch, Microsoft System Center Orchestrator) Azure and Microsoft 365 Administration Analyze system log files and determine appropriate courses of action Intermediate to Expert level knowledge of Operating systems management on a global scale: Windows, Linux Operate a VMware 6 (or higher) or Azure platform in a large, multi-site environment Contribute to patch management, backup/restore processes, and systems monitoring efforts Intermediate understanding and comfort level with routing, switching, and firewalls Participate in on-call rotation and/or after-hours support Assist communications, security, business systems, and desktop support teams with troubleshooting issues Troubleshoot problems at all levels from the server to the end user Be a key supporting member and/or technical project lead on major IT projects International travel may be required Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience A minimum of seven (7) years' experience installing and maintaining Operating Systems, Infrastructure Systems, and Management Systems or equivalent education and experience A minimum of seven (7) years' experience with Infrastructure Systems management: Data Center, UPS, Storage, Network, and Virtualization At least five (5) years' experience with v Sphere or Azure hypervisors in a large, multi-site environment A minimum of seven (7) years' experience with Windows Active Directory and Windows Server Systems experience DESIRED Datacenter and Hardware Experience (Including: amber light remediation, rack and stack, cable management) Identity Management Experience M365 Administration Experience Mail Systems application administration (M365 Exchange, On-prem SMTP, and Archiving systems) Technical certifications preferred Usage and management of Microsoft Azure portal, DOME, SCCM, SCOM, and SCOrch KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS Analytical Thinking/ Thoroughness/ Written Communication/ Technology/ Diagnostic Information Gathering/ Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships Skill to prioritize workflow in a changing work environment Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals or documents Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from external and internal customers Ability to effectively present information to management, both orally and in written form To perform this job successfully, an individual should have complete knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers and environments.

They should also have advanced knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and have the ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve them quickly and effectively. Additional Information This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office.
