Job Summary: We are hiring for a Principal Software Engineer to serve as an Aircraft Platform Interface Software Product Owner in the Software Engineering Directorates Effectors Center supporting a major Advanced Technology Hypersonic missile program.

The Advanced Technology Aircraft Platform Interface Software Product Owner is responsible for managing all cost, schedule, and execution for Software Engineering activities to deliver Aircraft Platform

Interface capabilities on the program. These activities include but are not limited to Estimate at Completion Reviews (EACs), proposal reviews, staffing projections, and monthly metrics tracking.

In addition, the Product Owner will be the primary Software Engineering interface to the customer community, program management, and other stakeholders. The Product Owner is responsible for leading the team that plans and executes all stages of software development and testing for these capabilities in the software builds. The Product Owner will also be responsible for directly contributing to SW design, development, integration, and test of the Aircraft Platform Interface software. This position

Manage the execution of all assigned work scope, determine the allocation of personnel within the team to perform that work, and review and approve any contract deliverables before delivery to the customer. Support growth through proposal development and the deployment and continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools. Represent the interests of the Software Engineering Directorate on the program. Responsible for developing a team capable of delivering the aircraft platform interface SW capabilities for the Embedded Tactical flight software, MBIT software, Reprogramming software, Boot software, integration plans, test plans, verification items, analysis scripts, test procedures and test reports. Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations for Software Engineering Identification, establishment and implementation of best practices and lessons learned. Represent the Raytheon Software Engineering team to the customer during regular programmatic and technical meetings.

Responsible for researching and testing new devices/software/hardware that provides business value. Provide troubleshooting support to over a thousand users in our US and international offices when needed Qualifications Proven work experience as an Asset Manager or similar role. A degree in IT-related or comparable experience is a plus, with at least four (4) or more years of professional IT experience with an emphasis on providing excellent support. Previous working experience supporting VIP/C-Level Executives (1 + years).
