The Role The Asset Management and Procurement Administrator will own the asset management and procurement process for CAA on a global scale. This position will also include phone and desk side support when needed, project team membership, and service ownership. This role is critical to the

CAA team as it is the lifeline of support for our vendors and customers.

It is essential that this person be an excellent communicator and work well on their own. They will be responsible for supporting senior-level staff up to the C-suite. The ability to communicate and present professionally is of the utmost importance. Responsibilities Assist with hardware purchasing and managing assets. Coordinate with selected vendors on the supply and delivery of purchased assets. Responsible for all surplus inventories, including recording all End of Life (EOL) inventories and disposal/e-waste. Responsible for decommissioning assets and oversee surplus removal as needed.

Maintain appropriate levels of consumables. Responsible for receiving and tagging all hardware assets. Responsible for entering asset information into our Service Now asset tracking system. Responsible for auditing inventory on a global scale. Obtain and review competitive quotes and proposals from vendors; discuss evaluations and review with leadership and SME. Provide pricing quotes for items and prepare orders with suppliers. Ensure line items of the purchase order and the quality of the materials received. Responsible for shipping defective assets/equipment to vendor(s) and arrange a replacement.

Research and contact vendors to gather technical information and prices on equipment. Update the inventory listing of property on all new deliveries. Assist with drafting, revising, and circulating purchase procurement guidance. Assist with issuing asset management rules and procedures. Identify future opportunities for savings. Coordinate with selected vendors on the supply and delivery of purchased items. Maintain and oversee new and existing statistical and analytical reports to inform leadership of asset management metrics and trends. Assist with developing and leading the change effort on the existing systems and programs to promote efficiencies and reduce redundancies.

Responsible for researching and testing new devices/software/hardware that provides business value. Provide troubleshooting support to over a thousand users in our US and international offices when needed Qualifications Proven work experience as an Asset Manager or similar role. A degree in IT-related or comparable experience is a plus, with at least four (4) or more years of professional IT experience with an emphasis on providing excellent support. Previous working experience supporting VIP/C-Level Executives (1 + years).

Strong working knowledge of Service Now including the asset and procurement processes. Strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organizational and managerial expertise. Experience in asset management and procurement on a global scale. Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Lenovo notebooks and desktops. Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Apple hardware and software. Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting experience in supporting Microsoft Office 2016/O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel & Power Point) for both Windows and Mac.

Experience in supporting HP color printers and copiers (from installation to configuration to diagnosing failures and contacting HP support for repairs). This person must have strong communication skills and a strong technical background, including both phone and onsite support. Candidate must be an analytical thinker as this position will involve problem resolution and process/policy development. Overall, customer service orientation skills are a requirement. Previous experience working with outside vendors and contracts. Previous experience with ownership of a product/project.

Experience in a large-scale environment is a must, supporting 1,000 users or more. Environment CAA has a service-oriented collaborative environment where we help our colleagues and then focus on our own work. Please note: You will be required to dress in business professional attire daily. We are looking for an individual with experience providing white glove technical support and guidance. Location This role is on-site, located in the Los Angeles office. Compensation: The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $30.00 - $39.00.
