Application Specialist for its Lynchburg, VA location Essential Functions/Responsibilities: : Creates functional specifications for NOG: L Quality Engineering (EQ) Systems (Et Q, doc Qnet, Code Compliance) as necessary.Initiates Software Quality tracking documentation for functional specifications.Tests systems and creates documentation changes for the systems designated above.Performs cognizant oversight and modifications to QE Systems owned procedure, including user guides.Participates in company improvement/adhoc teams related to QE Systems modifications.

: Performs investigations and derives solutions with QE Systems Developers in response to Near Hits, Improvement Suggestions, or

system issues.Provides customer/user support as necessary.Performs IBM and Solumina updates for product attributes, including statistical release, and generates Quality Control Deficiencies (QCDs) for component deviations, as necessary in a back: up capacity for Statistics.Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: : A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a related field plus six (6) years of experience.A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.A working knowledge of QE Systems and Procedures (Et Q, Doc Qnet, and Code Compliance).Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. : Must be highly self: motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail and organization.Ability to work in a team: oriented, collaborative environment is required.

Must also be able to work independently. : Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment is required.Proven analytical and creative problem: solving abilities is required.Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance. Preferred Qualifications: : Programming experience and knowledge. The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US: VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between 62,000 and 109,000 per year.

However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job: related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
