As a Process Chemist at Fog Pharma, you will partner with scientists across the organization to discover and develop
the best Helicon TM peptides and tailor them to fit patients' needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Process Chemist to join a multidisciplinary team and help us discover and develop novel inhibitors of undruggable disease targets.
Your role will report to the Vice President of medical Development and will be to establish robust manufacturing processes for our drug substance. This will require both hands-on and strategic approaches, leveraging internal and external capabilities with high flexibility. Ideal candidates will be experienced, energetic, and passionate, with a broad knowledge of Process Chemistry / Chemical Development to influence and guide the best route
selection and development of our chemical processes. This position is primarily lab-based, and you will be a primary data generator with opportunities to lead a subteam of process chemists.
Leverage internal and external capabilities to advance our programs. Lead by example and take a hands-on approach to solving our most pressing challenges. Lead a subteam of 1-2 process chemists. Partner with early discovery through late stage development to discover and implement the best synthetic approaches to our Helicon TM peptides. Develop the best strategy for the synthesis of our Helicon TM peptides. What you'll need to be successful: Ph D with a minimum of 6-8+ years of industry experience in process chemistry.
Experience with development of safe, scalable processes and technology transfer to manufacturing sites. Hands-on experience with kilo-lab deliveries is a plus. Excellent communication, organization, strategic, and cross-functional team skills. Experience directly managing external vendors is a plus. Experience with Quality Assurance, Quality systems, and GMP production is a plus. Experience with regulatory filings is a plus. Synthetic experience with peptides is a plus.
