The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Marketing and is responsible for staying at the front of social media trends and creating engaging content. Responsibilities and Duties: Create, review, and edit digital content across all BECO Asset Management, OBEC Hospitality, Blue Hippo Car Wash, and subsidiary company platforms. Monitor social media accounts and respond to questions or concerns. Create content that builds followers and leads to brand awareness and sales. Obtain original content for businesses by creating relationships through study, visitation,

and communication with business staff. Attend one property resident event monthly with a plan to increase contact and exposure and gather information on the existing demographic to aid in marketing efforts.

Attend Bridgeport events in coordination with the Director of Marketing and Event Planning Specialist, as needed. Learn the Adobe Suite in areas that pertain to creating digital & print advertisements, social media content, and graphic design elements. Work in conjunction with the Marketing Team on establishing brand identities for new businesses. Work in conjunction with the Marketing Team on creating advertisements as needed. Provide monthly reporting on the success of social pages and the businesses standing within the greater community.

Other duties as assigned. Schedule: Monday – Friday. Occasional Weekend Hours for offsite events that will allow for time flexing. Onsite work at the BECO Corporate office or individual businesses as needed. All hours will stay within normal business hours Monday – Friday, with the occasional offsite event past normal business hours. Qualifications Minimum of 1-3 years of experience preferred. Will accept education in place of experience. Bachelor’s degree in web development, marketing, graphics, communications, public relations, journalism, media, or a related field preferred.

A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Valid driver’s license Experience with Adobe Suite is a plus but not required. Avid user of social networking sites, including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok. Firm understanding of multifamily housing and food service. Highly organized and detailed oriented. Strong visual arts background. Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, planning and project management skills. Powered by Jazz HR
