Sprayers are some of the most talented employees on our team. Their eye for detail and finish work is next to none.
You would help us with wood finishing using pigmented and dye stains, as well as solid lacquers, water based lacquer and poly finishes. Our employees use air applied and wipe-on stains and their expertise to match tones. As a Painter and Production Sprayer, you play an essential role in helping us finish the products and complete our work orders on time by: Using your artistic ability to match stain tones; Select premixed paints, or match tones of finish to samples and provides tonal continuity throughout the entire project; Smooth (scuff-sand) and prepare surfaces for painting; Read work order and/or blueprint drawing or receive instructions from supervisor regarding project; U nderstand and have the ability to perform the finishing process unique to each product/work order; and Help in a variety of other duties within the department and shop areas.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSEMBLY WOODWORKER At least 18 years of age Ability to read and interpret documents, instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs Ability and desire to work with your hands Tolerance to vibration, noise, and variations in temperature Commitment to lean manufacturing practices We prefer experience in wood finishing, ranging from pigmented and dye stains to solid color lacquers, water-based lacquer and poly finishes in a wood-related application.
Experience in air applied and wipe-on stains preferred, but we can train the right person.
