Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Manufacturing Solutions, this role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise with MOM/MES and industrial automation projects. The MES Solution Architect Delivery Lead will be leading projects and teams through the delivery of capabilities specific to Production Scheduling, Production Execution, Quality/Deviation Mgmt.
Production Report Management, etc. In this position, the MES Solution Architect Delivery Lead will work closely with domain architects to ensure alignment with current and future architectures for the integration of MES solutions with ERP software and plant automation equipment. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor's
Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field preferred At least 5 years of experience with various manufacturing execution systems (SCADA, MES, ERP, MOM, IIo T, etc.
) and industrial control systems At least 5 years of experience supporting software development projects in an IT capacity (i. e. systems integrator, software developer, and/or systems engineer) Experience with Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF) and Agile Methodologies Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications): Experience in metals or material manufacturing industry Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
with cross-functional teams Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 Strong understanding of manufacturing business designs, business models, functions, processes, and job roles in manufacturing environments, as well as how they are impacted by digitization and emerging technologies/techniques Strong understanding of data analytics (e.
g. AI, Cognitive Analytics, Machine Learning) Familiarity with industry standards, such as ANSI/ISA-95 and ANSI/ISA-88 Knowledge OPC UA-DA, MQTT, XML, HTML,NET, Visual Basic, SQL Our client offers a hybrid work policy (home and office) for this position. As a MES Solution Architect Delivery Lead, the successful candidate will assist in conducting digital manufacturing readiness backssments, perform evaluation of technology standards, tools/products, and solutions, and influence architectural strategy as technology evolves, with an emphasis on deterministic, re-usable and scalable solutions.
