We invite you to join our team for this very interesting opportunity Position Overview: This role will support design development of Architectural designs for the GBSD program project by preparing studies, drawings, specifications, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements.

Work with Civil, Structural, and other technical disciplines in a team environment. Familiar with Government projects with regard to drawings formation, specifications and overall coordination. Responsibilities : The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem: solving abilities,

a can: do attitude, and the desire to innovate designs.Preparation of original architectural designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for buildings.

Including but not limited to: plans, schedules, elevations, sections, details, etc.Conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the architectural work.Understand and perform the standard architectural work planning, scheduling, and job hour estimating process.Monitor and ensure compliance with quality requirements.Review and check the work of other architects as assigned.As directed, supervise, coordinate, provide technical direction and assign work to subordinate architects and designers.Coordinate and integrate design work between the architectural discipline and other engineering disciplines.Review and approve key design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, and change orders.Prepare procurement and subcontract requisition documents and perform associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations.Prepares or assists in the preparation of cost estimates and quantity take: offs for architectural elements.Resolve technical issues with customers and construction.Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.Embodies a commitment to external and internal client service.

Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications : BA or BSdegree in Architecture, from an accredited university, with at least9years of relevant experienceor in lieu of a degree 15years of relevant professional experience.Registered Architect in the United States or ability to attain it.US citizenship or legal resident.
