The Service Now Platform Architect position will provide innovative Service Now solutions that provide high-end ITBM (SPM), ITSM (TSM), ITOM, TNI, FSM, ITAM and CMDB services built to accommodate an ever-changing and constantly evolving enterprise needs. We are looking for a passionate Service Now-skilled individual to help continue the growth of our Service Now architecture and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Service Now platforms and be able to apply industry best practices to our suite of application architectures, technologies, tools and provide thought leadership to the organization. This position will serve as a subject matter expert in the Service

Now modules and play a key role in influencing roadmap development. The ideal candidate will require minimal guidance and supervision, maintain a positive attitude, possess excellent communication skills, and serve as a mentor to other team members.

This position is a part of a job family with multiple levels. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications. What you will do to contribute to the company's success Designs and develops Information Technology (IT) architecture (integrated process, applications, data, and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Leads

design, implementation plans, and high-level visibility and modernization efforts in accordance with requirements provided by stakeholders while maintaining platform stability, scalability, and compliance with applicable license agreements and audit policies.

Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings. Ensure solutions design meet business requirements and are aligned with the overall strategy of IT. Apply industry best practices and advanced methodologies, to address and review system requirements, business processes, changing development and technology environments.

backsses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Identifies areas of opportunity for improvement through integration, automation and enhanced business capabilities and ensure we are fully utilizing and benefiting from tools across the enterprise. Resolves major underlying technology issues that may arise within a project or product. Identifies opportunities to make significant changes in the process to eliminate outages, reduce waste, improve process and execution efficiencies, and improve communication across the organization.

Addresses new or enhanced business capabilities through market and solution backssments. Develops, updates, and maintains conceptual and logical architecture designs to support current state of technologies, as well as architecture processes and practices. Make recommendations and proposals to leadership on architectural integration design both within the platform and with other systems via integrations. Qualifications BS in computer science, engineering, or relevant field. 10+ years of large scale, enterprise planning, design, implementation, and support experience 5+ years of proven experience as an architect in designing and implementing Service Now modules, custom applications, and integration with 3rd party applications.

5+ years of development/configuration experience on the Service Now platform including Integration Hub and Mid Server. 5+ years of experience in leading a development team. Strong technical abilities, a sound understanding of business strategy and policies that govern the Service Now platform and possesses advanced Service Now knowledge and skill. Good understanding of architecture / infrastructure concepts and ITIL implementation.

Proven experience with key technologies relevant to the Service Now integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS. Thorough knowledge on workflows, tables, encryptions, UI builder, Agent workspace, Virtual Agent, flow designer and integration hub. Excellent knowledge on Enterprise Security and Architecture, middleware and discovery technologies, database design schemas and data modeling. Service Now Certified Master Architect and/or Certified Technical Architect.
