The Work This Supplier Quality Engineer role is a high-visibility position with responsibility for managing multiple hull constructions at our shipyard suppliers with an emphasis on Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) programs.

Primary location for this role is in Marinette but occasional travel to Jacksonville will be required. Due to the critical nature of this role, this individual will directly report to the Line of Business Supplier Quality

Assurance Sr Manager. As Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for the shipyard, you will be an integral part of the LM Shipyard team including Product & Program Quality, Engineering and Procurement; responsible for a range of essential tasks including the performance of supplier audits to uphold the quality and reliability of Lockheed Martin product.

The right candidate must be flexible and adaptable to ensure supplier requirements are met and delivered on time in a dynamic work environment. This role requires communication with team members across multiple locations & includes Supplier Quality oversight for all aspects of ship construction including heavy steel fabrication, testing & Integration,

subsystem installation, power, heating & cooling, control, finishes etc.

In addition to product compliance, the SQE is also responsible to ensure supplier compliance to documented processes and procedures. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors or masters degree or equivalent from an accredited college in an Engineering or related technical discipline • Previous experience in a Supplier Quality Assurance capacity • Ability to work independently without day to day, direct supervision • Experience & willingness to engage with LM, Customer and Supplier leadership • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support program activities • Experience working in an industry relevant Quality Management System (QMS) • Root Cause and Corrective Action experience and demonstrated ability to facilitate these efforts with Suppliers • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start & achieve DBIDS access • Physical ability to maneuver about a ship; may involve heights and small/confined spaces • Ability to travel Desired Skills: • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to team with internal/external customers and program stakeholders.

• Proficient in reading Engineering Drawings, Schematics, and Performance Specifications • Knowledge and practice of process Audits and RCCA validation reviews • Knowledge of maritime construction methods and/or American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Naval Vessel Rules and High-Speed Naval Craft Rules. • Demonstrated track record of working with multiple customers and building strong internal and external customer relationships. • Material specification knowledge and process familiarity with the following - welding, plumbing, electrical, large-scale dimensional inspection, nondestructive test techniques, mechanical and electrical test Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
