Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Manager, Team Leader 2 World Class Opposing Force Team Chief to join our growing team of diverse professionals at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The selected candidate will lead and work with general

guidance from functional management, providing team leadership to a customer-focused team or group of teams committed to increased quality and productivity. Responsibilities: Manages a 25-person team of World Class Opposing Forces (WCOPFOR) Planners and Simulation Work Area Commanders to provide a world class adversary during Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Warfighter (WFX) exercises Supports up to five WFXs each year by conducting the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to produce five written orders Provides management oversight of the OPFOR Support Division (OSD) as they conduct WARSIM training to new full-time and part-time hires, conduct database scrubs prior to each WFX, and

conduct START File build prior to each WFX Participates in WCOPFOR Training Day before each exercise Functions as the WCOPFOR Chief of Staff assisting the military in the execution of WCOPFOR activities during exercise execution, Synchronizes WCOPFOR tactical planning with WARSIM technical preparation and execution Integrates WCOPFOR priorities with the MCTP Staff and Operations Groups In accordance with organization goals, provides direction on activities and behaviors to increase morale and motivates team members Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions Provides guidance to the team on development, performance, and productivity issues Represents the team, presenting team suggestions and recommendations on processes and procedures in accordance with organization cost, quality, and productivity goals Reports to organization management on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity Basic Qualifications: One of the following: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional and/or military leadership experience Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional and/or military leadership experience Military Education Level 4 (MEL 4) graduate / Intermediate Level Education (ILE) Former Field Grade Officer Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time) Must have an active U.

S. Department of Defense (Do D) Secret security clearance; must be eligible for Top Secret Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree Experience with Constructive Simulation Models (WARSIM especially) Experience working with the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Familiar with U. S. Army doctrine and Opposing Force Doctrine (FM 7-100 Series) Familiar with MCTP processes (travel, manning and contract deliverables) Former Battalion Command MEL 1 Salary Range: $89,600 - $112,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
