Apps, Nintex, and Visual Studio workflows. Solutions shall support the automation and reporting of Naval Sea Systems Command Engineering efforts such as Dev Ops Pipelines, Management Tools, Product Management, Program Management and repeatable, systems engineering support processes.
Provide support on integrations within container orchestration platforms, to include Kubernetes and Docker containers. Perform content and site structure administration of commercial collaboration platforms such as Share Point Online, Share Point on-prem and Atlassian (Jira and Confluence). This support shall include site creation, configuration, customization, automation, and security model design and implementation.
Support additional middleware collaboration platforms as emerging requirements necessitate.
Provide technical support for lifecycle management for all applications. This support shall include developing, testing, deploying, training support, troubleshooting and documenting all hosted applications. Provide architecture, design and system operational support (SOP) documentation for all middleware applications. SOPs shall include deployment, test, troubleshooting and Service Desk support procedures. Provide architecture and design documentation prior to the commencement of development. Architecture and design documentation shall address all configuration items as well as any integration with external interfaces such as databases, other middleware platforms, network connections, and PKI compliance.
Maintain existing and develop new front-end user interfaces using technologies such as Angular, Java, JSP, ASP. NET, XML, HTML/DHTML, CSS, j Query, and Java Script. Use the Agile/SCRUM software development process when applicable. Incorporate any required or applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Desired Experience for this Role: Three (3) years’ experience in engineering systems and administration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) systems and cloud services, including AWS EC2 instances, AWS VPCs, and AWS S3 storage.
Three (3) years’ experience with providing administration supporting cloud-based policies and procedures. Three (3) or more years of experience in working with Power Shell, Power CLI, AWS CLI, AWS Cloud Watch, and AWS Cloud Formation. Two (2) years’ experience in the automation of provisioning and management of cloud resources. Two (2) years’ experience with cloud-native operations and monitoring best practices, including capacity, performance, and security. Experience with cloud-native disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP).
Desired Education for this Role: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical disciple and five (5) years’ of technical experience in the development or maintenance of software and/or information networks. If no degree ten (10) years of technical experience in the development or maintenance of software and/or information networks. Per Do D Directive 8570.1 M or successor, this position requires IAM Level II (or equivalent) or higher.
