Software Engineer Job Overview: As a Software Engineer you will assist our clients and business partners with implementing and extending our software product, Sita Ware and IRIS Suite, to meet their mission objectives.

You should be a technical “problem-solver” and comfortable working in client facing roles. You will be part of our software development team which extends and adapts our product to fit the customer requirements and needs. You will work in cross-functional teams with other multi-disciplined engineers to jointly plan, design, implement, and deploy our solutions in the customers organization. This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.

Therefore, US Citizenship is required. Responsibilities and Duties Work as part of an agile development and consultation team supporting customer’s needs across multiple functional areas such as full-stack development, API development/integration, and automated testing. Utilize knowledge and experience to provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, and integration of complex hardware/software systems. Communicate design decisions/considerations and requirements with customers and product owners to implement technical solutions.

Grow and maintain Sita Ware/IRIS Suite knowledge and expertise. Maintain awareness/familiarity of emerging technologies & coding best practices to implement within project where best applicable. International (OCONUS) and CONUS Travel required. Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required) Qualifications and Education Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field. An Associate’s degree and 4 years of relevant work experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s Degree requirement. 4+ years development experience with any of the following: Java, Java EE, Java Script frameworks, Angular Functional understanding of networking, virtualization, and core server concepts Agile/Scrum development concept, tools, and experience Dev Ops and Continuous Integration concepts, tools, and experience Capable of developing in a team orientated environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to design, code, and test software solutions with limited guidance Active Do D Secret Security Clearance Preferred Skills: Experience working in Do D environment Proficient with Java build tools (Gradle, Maven, GIT, Ant, Etc) Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc.
