Job Summary: We are currently hiring a Systems Design Engineer in Systems Engineering to join the Effectors Systems Design & Architecture (SDA) organization located in Tucson, AZ.
This position is to support Effectors programs as a Model Based System Engineering Architect. SDA is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers.

As an MBSE Architect, you will be expected to perform model based development of an Effector System or Subsystem in compliance with a defined architecture framework. You will be responsible for contributing to the initial, preliminary, and detailed designs of new subsystems or total systems. You will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to help
define requirements, interfaces, system and subsystem behavior, and how the subsystem will integrate into the overall system and architecture.
You will also be responsible for establishing the approach and implementing the system design and architecture using Model Based System Engineering methods and tools to include definition of processes and structures to be utilized within a model development plan. You will guide other members of the team to complete model development in accordance with the model development plan and will track completion of model elements against program schedules and milestones. You will also have the opportunity to influence the overall architecture design in collaboration with internal and external stakeholder communities.

Responsibilities to Anticipate: You will be responsible for obtaining in-depth technical knowledge of the Effectors system or subsystem that is assigned to you You will develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors and architecture You will contribute to a system level model development plan You will apply your knowledge of the subsystem and collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to develop and implement the system model using Model Based System Engineering tools and methods.
You will interact with Technical SMEs as necessary to fully understand the system or subsystem Depending on level of experience, you will influence the overall architecture design in collaboration with internal and external stakeholder communities Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of Engineering experience OR an advanced degree in STEM and 5 years of Engineering experience.
Experience implementing architecture and designs with Model Based Systems Engineering tools. Experience managing or guiding teams working architecture and design Experience defining model completeness and tracking status of model development. Experience with Sys ML, Do DAF, WOSA, MOSA, GRA, or other architectural frameworks Active and transferable U. S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.
S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
