Job Description: Serve as the senior-level subject matter expert for C4 ISR branch as the technical representative for the development and implementation of agent-based modeling efforts of various C4 systems and subsystems. Support the technical exploitation of foreign communication systems through the characterization and analysis of antennas and RF
components. Analyze, model, and simulate communications systems, subsystems, and electronic signals for communication networks, data links, digital radios, and command and control systems such as wide and local area networks, point-to-point systems, secure systems, signal coding and modulation schema, digital and wireless radio/communications technology and network architecture design.
Provide expertise to support the validation and verification of complex models of C4 systems and subsystems and backss overall performance of simulations. Apply knowledge in RF propagation and C4 system functionality to validate, refine, and improve models. Interface with model and software developers and
assist in the model development by ensuring accurate representations of systems and appropriate behavior of agent-based models within the simulated environment.
Support discussions on the analytical health of various C4 systems and subsystems and on the order of model development. Offer recommendations, provide feedback, and advise the Government. Minimum Requirements: Senior-level engineering experience including a minimum of 10 years of related RF and communications systems experience. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution. Prefer degrees in electrical or electronic engineering. Will also consider computer engineer, systems engineering, physics, mathematics, or telecommunications degrees.
Strong background in RF communications theory and protocols. Technical experience in developing RF system solutions including the design, development, integration, and test of operational prototypes. Experience with RF modeling and simulation tools similar to PSpice, Pathwave Advanced Design System (ADS), Cadence Virtuoso, etc. Understanding of wireless networking to include communication protocols. Some level of expertise in coding is a plus but not required. This Position requires a minimum of a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
