Responsibilities Maintainingturfgrassandgroundstohighstandardswithanemphasisonsustainabilityand aesthetics under direction of the Land Steward Aftertraining, safelyoperatingandmaintainingpowertools, vehicles, andotherlandscape equipment Maintaininghardscapesurfacesthroughoutthegardenmechanicallyand/orchemicallywithan emphasis

on safety, accessibility, aesthetics, and sustainability Supportingsnowremovaloperations; withtraining, safelyoperatingsnowthrowers, saltspreaders, and other snow removal tools and equipment Supportinglandstewardshipactivitiesinnaturalareasacrosstheproperty, includingmappingplant populations, invasive species management, and other stewardship practices Supportingirrigationandhardscapemaintenanceand repairs Supportinggeneralgardenmaintenanceunderthedirectionofsupervisorandotherhorticulture staff Performingotherdutiesasassignedby supervisor Schedule The Landscape Gardener position is non-exempt.

The standard work schedule for this position is Monday- Friday; however, the schedule may be flexible to suit the needs of the organization and may at times involve weekend or evening hours.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, and the Landscape Gardener will be asked to assist with event management in both indoor and outdoor roles. Education and Experience Validdriver'slicense, excellentdrivingrecord, andabilitytodriveapickup Satisfactory completion of a criminal background Knowledgeorinterestinhorticulture, landscapedesign, urbanecology, forestry, orurbanplanning- Effective communication skills and willingness to interact with the Physical Demands / Working Conditions: Mustbeabletolift50poundsrepeatedlyandworkoutdoorsinallseasonal Mustbeabletobend, squat, kneel, stand, andwalkforextendedperiodsoftimeandtonavigate uneven grounds and stairs evenly.
