As a valued member of our team, the Database Architect/Administrator will: Collaborate horizontally and vertically across multiple teams to create and optimize the customer’s data holdings. Provide guidance and recommendations to leadership on database technologies, implementations, and data model strategies.
Establish ontologies and data governance best practices. Design, implement, and monitor database implementations and identify opportunities for improvement. Work mostly on-site and will have extensive interaction with customers, clients, and other contractors. Database Architect/Administrator Requirements: U. S. Citizenship required. Due to the work you will perform and interactions
with the intelligence community and Do D programs, a TS security clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field with 8-10 years of relevant work experience OR MS with 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
Relocation to Reston, VA. Minimal travel to support customer and client meetings. Experience with at least one modern software development ecosystem, such as Python, and comfortable implementing quick-turnaround, proof of concept solutions in that ecosystem. Proficiency with SQL and No SQL (Postgre SQL and Elastic Search, primarily. ) Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical
audiences. Team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Database Architect/Administrator Preferences: TS/SCI security clearance is preferred. Master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field. Do D 8570 IAT II Status. (e. g.
