for the Facilities Management Services Group for various customers throughout Greater Richmond Area DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs the following tasks: trimming, edging and mowing grass/lawns; trimming of shrubs, hedges and trees; planting of shrubs, flowers and trees; landscape bed maintenance such as weed removal, installing mulch and watering; aerate, fertilize and overseed lawns ; prune and cut down trees (II only) ; collection and removal of leaves; general clean-up of properties to include construction sites; litter clean up on various properties and roadways; clean out and cleaning of houses; demolition of houses; installation and removal of security fencing; snow and ice removal; cleaning
of all associated equipment; other tasks as assigned.
Operates the following equipment: string trimmer; push mower; riding mowers (II only) ; back-pack blower; utility tractor ; chainsaw and pole saw; hedge trimmers; aerators; fertilizer spreader; tillers; generator; saws-all ; post driver ; snow blowers (II only) ; various hand tools including but not limited to: rakes, shovels, brooms, hand pruners, hand saw, loppers and small garden tools and other small hand tools; salt spreaders Adheres to all agency policies in governing safety, discrimination/harassment, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) and the agency's Human Rights plan.
