sessions, is available to help faculty individually, and collaborates with the Information Technology department to help faculty prototype and implement new software and hardware in their course offerings. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and deliver training for academic technologies, including Canvas Learning Management System, Zoom, lecture capture, and online tools.
Develop and deliver guides and workshops. Collaborate and consult with faculty on effective instructional design strategies, web-based resources, multimedia technologies, and instructional software. Collaborate to ensure instructional integrity of course development through systematic design and clear course standards
and objectives. Promote faculty engagement in course development and ensure best practices and quality standards. Promote scholarship of teaching and learning, evidence-based teaching, backssment, curriculum design, innovations in educational technology, emerging trends, pedagogy, and learning theories.
Research, evaluate, and integrate new and emerging educational technologies for online courses. Ensure Title III project compliance by successfully implementing strategies as outlined in the narrative, including participation in grant reporting. Perform other duties, responsibilities, or special projects as assigned Skills and Experience : Master's degree required. Strong preference for
a degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design or a related field.
Experience with the design and development of courses, including curriculum, instructional materials, and backssment is required. Knowledge of effective pedagogy, learning theory, and instructional design in both face-to-face and online courses is required. Experience designing instruction within a learning management system is required. Experience consulting with faculty on course design and development is strongly preferred. Teaching experience (both face-to-face and online) in higher education is strongly preferred. Knowledge of the scholarship of teaching and learning and evidence-based teaching preferred.
