Design high voltage power conversion systems utilizing power semiconductor devices. Design control systems for electric motors. Perform system architecture design, competitive analysis, intellectual property management, product specification development, requirement definition, performance analysis, simulation, systems

modeling, simulation tool development. Develop recreational marine power electronics solutions that can be taken to market. Develop team capability to support future cost-effective electrification development.

Apply design and safety standards. Train and mentor engineers at both the innovation center and across the enterprise. Develop and define complete electric vessel systems, subsystems, and components through system-level design concepts that meet customer needs. Involved in the production implementation of power electronic designs. Support company-wide product development teams and engage with university research, national labs, and new technology suppliers to lead the backssment

and application of advanced electric drive technologies suitable for marine applications.

Interface with research institutions to solve marine focused electrification challenges. Interpret functional safety standards for high voltage underwater electric drives. Up to 10% domestic travel to supplier locations and test lab locations. Up to 50% telecommuting allowed. Education Requirement: Masters degree in electrical engineering, power engineering or related. Experience Requirement: 7 years of experience as electric power engineer, power electronics engineer, electronic design engineer or related. Special Skills: Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Design high voltage power conversion systems utilizing power semiconductor devices; 2) Application to electrically propelled mobile vehicle applications; 3) Production implementation of power electronic designs; 4) Design control systems for electric motors; and 5) Interpret functional safety standards for high voltage underwater electric drives.
