Job Summary: Raytheon Software Engineering is looking for a Principal Software Engineer – SW Test Lead to support an Advanced technology Hypersonic missile program software formal qualification test (FQT) activities.
The successful candidate will lead all aspects of software qualification testing including requirements development/refinement, test development, and test execution. The SW Test Lead will communicate and work closely with the Integrated
Product Team Lead (IPTL), Chief Product Owner (CPO), Systems Engineering lead and their team, the customer, and other Product Owners in support of a missile system software testing activity.
The SW Test Lead will provide technical direction and lead a team of engineers to plan, assign, status, and guide all Agile tasks across the team. The successful candidate must have the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. This position is located onsite in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Coordinate with Systems to develop, mature, and update requirements Lead a team of ~10 testers Coordinate and lead automation test script development Coordinate and lead development
of test plans and test descriptions Coordinate with program management and various IPTs for planning and executing FQTs Working in an Agile and Dev Ops development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Systems, Integration and Verification teams Demonstrate ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of program, customers, and technical leads (IPTs, chief engineers, architects) Provide presentations to communicate status to program leadership and the customer Experience with Git, Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server, and Jenkins.
Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years of experience.
Experience in creating test scenarios Experience in running tests on CILs Experience creating Test Description documents and Test Reports Experience creating presentation packages for TRR/TRB C++, Python, Perl, and shell scripting experience Experience with gen Soft and gen Sim An Active and transferable Secret U. S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U. S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
