Establish medium to long term work plans for the function This role would translate reference architecture and patterns into platform engineering solutions Cloud Architecture will work with Cloud/Dev Ops developers, Platform Delivery lead and Cloud/Dev Ops architects to oversee platform design, standard & patterns implementation, and product releases You will have experience architecting the solutions based on automation/patterns and developing infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and SRE principles Work with Enterprise Architecture, IT leaders, business, and IT support teams to develop technical strategies and roadmaps that are aligned with the segment's strategic direction to ensure
that business capabilities are enabled Work with enterprise architects, product managers and Cloud/Dev Ops engineers to design and implement cloud platform automation solutions Partner with the Platform Delivery Lead on the prioritization of the product backlog, refining product roadmap, KPIs & releases Lead the identification and analysis of important industry and technology trends to backss potential effect on their business segments Develop technology enablers for business segments and technology domains Collaborate with Cloud/Dev Ops engineers to solve technical and design problems Conduct and oversee design & code reviews Define platform software engineering standards and ensure compliance Monitor platform software quality and work with Cloud/Dev Ops engineers to improve it Work with partners and engineering teams to on-board and self-service promote platform consumers Design automation frameworks to support the platform products Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or commensurate work experience.
8+ years of experience, including experience in cloud solution architecture. (AWS, Azure or GCP) 5+ years of cloud-native software engineering experience in Public and Private Cloud Infrastructure.
Proficient in all aspects of Server computing Infrastructure and modern virtualization technologies. Practitioner experience with containerization (docker & kubernetes), cloud technologies (Jenkins, Artifactory) and practices (CI/CD patterns, automated provisioning & release, Git Ops, Ia C) Technical leadership (Dev Ops/SRE mindset) experience with an agile team delivering value incrementally Solid cloud and infrastructure experience with a working understanding of cloud infrastructure components at Iaa S, Paa S & Caa S abstraction layers. Experience with the full spectrum of software engineering value stream (e.
g. build, integration, testing, and releasing / deployment) Experience with software security and defensive coding techniques and left shift security models (Dev Sec Ops) Experience with automation languages (e. g.
