We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Design Architect to join this long-term contract upon award. The ideal candidate for this role will Contractor will demonstrate the ability to develop IT strategy and oversee implementation of integrated systems. Conduct investigation and evaluation of advanced technologies and their applicability to help satisfy operational capability gaps. Forecast plans and strategy for data and technology transitions, future goals, and needed skills. Provide backssment and guidance to the development of IT architecture improvements, analytics, processing, and communications capabilities; transitioning commercial, laboratory, and university developed advanced technologies into the client operational baselines.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include: Identifies, leverages, and recommends new technologies. Develops IT strategy and oversees implementation of integrated systems. Conduct investigation and evaluation of advanced technologies and their applicability to help satisfy operational capability gaps. Forecast plans and strategy for data and technology transitions, future goals, and needed skills. Advises leadership in support of decision-making to optimize and improve technology management.
Able to select, design, implement, and utilize a myriad of IT products within a heterogeneous enterprise. Prepares proposals and cost estimation of designing and implementing information technology requirements. Review new systems designs and major infrastructure modifications for security implications prior to implementation. Remain current in the latest information security and risk management knowledge, including new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Assure that supported systems adhere to documented security policies and perform to 100% effectiveness.
Must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization, from non-tech end user community to c-suite audiences. Contractor will possess a recognized degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or another technical field. Demonstrate knowledge and experience in security process and organizational design with technical excellence in the subject community. Qualified candidates for this role must possess a TOP SECRET security clearance and be immediately eligible for nomination to receive Special Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
Must be able to complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph and obtain MEAD NSA facility access and security clearance requirements upon request.
