We are expecting award and funding of these positions in February 2024. Responsibilities: Work with engineering, security, and operations teams to maintain and/or enhance deployed mission hardware and software to meet performance and security requirements using continuous build, inspection, testing, and deployment processes. Apply security architecture policies and principles to meet system security objectives for confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation
requirements. Ensure systems security measures and operations and maintenance activities are documented and updated as necessary.
Ensure security patches meet timelines for the operational environment. Verify and update security documentation reflecting application/system security design features. Develop, test, and deploy hardware and software using continuous integration methods, processes, and tools. Select, deploy, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, processes, and coding language and standards for developing software. Transition embedded and non-embedded software developed and sustained using traditional software methods into the Dev Sec Ops environment.
Conduct functional, connectivity, cybersecurity, and certification testing. Analyze and document software, hardware, or interoperability test results. Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and deficiencies and recommends actions and security measures to correct/mitigate them. Perform security reviews. backss effectiveness of security controls and identify gaps in security architecture. Develop a security risk management plan. Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process and documentation. Job Summary: Our cybersecurity team is seeking a Continuous Monitoring backssor (Con Mon backssor or CMA) that will support one of the following facilities: Tewksbury, Andover, Woburn, OR Marlborough with intermittent travel to other sites.
The CMA, under the supervision of the Con Mon Lead, is responsible for executing the information systems continuous monitoring program and actively supports self-inspections to validate the compliance
with regulatory and internal requirements. Serving as an independent backssor, the CMA will observe and help improve the cybersecurity hygiene and compliance by reviewing security controls as recommended by our customers and reporting anomalies.
CMA will periodically brief leadership on the status of the Con Mon program and significant/trending discoveries. Although you will not have direct reports, you may mentor others and provide support and advice pertaining to day-to-day occurrences or issues, while further protecting our warfighter. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Reviewing system security plan packages prepared by ISSOs and ISSMs Perform continuous monitoring of security controls,
changes & environments to ensure that they are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing the desired outcome with respect to meeting the cybersecurity requirements for assigned IT systems.
Communicate the security posture of systems through designated reporting mechanisms to include preparing and briefing leadership or government customers. Conducts and supports vulnerability scans, penetration testing & backssments while recognizing vulnerabilities in information systems and networks through various tools such as Nessus/Tenable, SCAP, Splunk, Scripting, etc. Partnering with ISSM/ISSO to increase Information Systems overall compliance.
