This is our primary stroke unit that also manages respiratory and cardiac patients. This unit is staffed at a 1:3-4 patient ratio consistent with national standards of care. Essential Duties Provides continuous cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition and intervention. Initiates and titrates multiple, complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses. Manages high flow & bipap patients.
Manages patients with acute neurological/neurosurgical events. Qualifications Job Requirements Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Previous PCU or ICU experience preferred. Previous Emergency room experience also considered Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire. CCRN or PCCN preferred.
