the Warehouse Supervisor will interact frequently with the Customer Service team and the Sales team This position will report to the: Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager Travel Requirement: up to 20% of Travel Required/Frequency FLSA Status : Exempt What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role In this role you will perform the following duties: Safe practices and safety consciousness in all activities.
Maintain accurate inventory. Maintain adherence to all ISO Registration Effectively develop and retain an effective Warehouse team to assure: o Train co-workers as required to achieve established goals o Balance shift workload and manage Overtime o Responsible for receiving, put-a-way, replenishment, picking, loading and housekeeping o Review loading and receiving processes to minimize errors o Review identification and tagging of products that is stored in the division's warehouse o Review facility to ensure superior housekeeping standards Responsible for safety, quality and productivity of warehouse operations Operate all Warehouse Management Systems Must be familiar with SAP Configure warehouse physically for maximum efficiencies.
Review forklift and warehouse equipment requirements and types of new equipment available and daily reporting to ensure that repairs are performed on a timely basis.
Review warehouse space requirements and what type of new material handling and communication equipment is on the market that may improve efficiency. Ensure that all material handling equipment is kept in good condition. Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned. People Leadership: The warehouse team members will report directly to this role What We’re Looking For Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or GED equivalent with good Math and English skills Minimum three years distribution related experience; 5 or more years preferred Knowledge/Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work processes, operation and maintenance instructions, technical procedures and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence (via e-mail or document) Strong knowledge SAP systems and related tools.
