Essential Responsibilities : Support warehouse operations by performing tasks in the areas of receiving, inventory, delivery and organizing, as directed by Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Ensure that quality, sanitation and safety standards are maintained. Contribute to goal of 100% customer satisfaction through personal commitment to customer service. Qualifications/Skills : High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience in a food service/operations/warehousing environment preferred. Demonstrated
ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions. Strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments to accomplish assigned tasks.
Other Requirements : Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly quartered environment. clean garments by route and day to ensure accurate delivery Remove soiled and clean return products from route trucks Sort soiled products by class and material Load soiled products onto transport shuttle for return to plant Load garments and additional facility service products onto trucks in preparation for route deliveries Monitor facility service inventory levels and notify management of shortages Perform light janitorial duties including sweeping, emptying trash, picking up litter, and cleaning the warehouse Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management. Qualifications What we're looking for: High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred Must be at least 16 years of age or older Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate machinery Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance Ability to lift and carry up 75 lbs.
