As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar Inc. you will work from a variety of source documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities.
In addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality backssment of parts for damage and defects. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking, packing and shipping parts, materials and supplies Operate electronic hardware/RF units Good attendance record and ability to work OT when required Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed The ability to properly perform quality checks Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older Willing and able to be trained on heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and overhead hoists Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures Frequently lift parts up to 50 pounds individually Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, walking and squatting while performing job tasks Ability to communicate effectively and read/write documents in English Desired Qualifications: Previous warehouse experience Previous experience with mobile equipment operation RF utilization experience Positive attitude Ability to work with a team environment Willingness to learn new processes EEO/AA Employer.
