Summary As a Coast Warehouse Order Pick Lead you have the responsibility to ensure that orders are being picked correctly, accurately and safely and that the order picking team are following proper guidelines for the pulling process. Responsibilities Using a combination of pick ticket sheets and RF scanners, walk to required location along a directed pick path to retrieve item and quantity ordered Scan items picked for accuracy and place into totes and /or on to carts Pick orders that have single units, or orders that have thousands of units Notify warehouse manager of stock issues (out of stock, stock in wrong place, damaged stock, unlocated stock, etc) Assist warehouse manager by segregating
pick tickets by category: HOT, LTL, Priority, Batched, Preshipped, Standard, Quick Pick, Warranty Pull master cartons from bulk stock area Assist with restocking pick racks as needed Ensure that orders are being processed First-In-First-Out Use warehouse equipment (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, carts) Ensure that the pick area is kept clean and organized, and is a safe working environment Qualifications Warehouse experience – 5 or more years a plus Experience in similar position required; ie Lead or Coordinator roles Strong interpersonal skills • Intermediate computer knowledge Ability to work independently Comfortable with heights up to 30 ft.
