Responsible for warehouse inventory, service van inventories and consignments. Parts Representative Primary Tasks: Coordinate parts department activities with sales, service and other departments Place daily/weekly orders and process van replenishment Perform warehouse and van inventory counts, research and reconcile discrepancies Manage parts inventory levels and review periodically Monitor over stocked and under
stocked parts and modify order levels as appropriate Responsible for periodic return of over stocked items to supplier Order parts from vendors May review and/or approve some or all invoices from vendors and to customers Provide outstanding customer service May coordinate and/or participate in product demonstrations.
Process work orders and invoices daily. Parts Representative Account Service: Maintain direct contact with current or prospective customers at end user locations. Participate in customer service for key accounts, complex transactions, irate customers, other extraordinary situations, or routine visits. May conduct training on products and techniques with individuals and groups.
Parts Representative Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
