Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Ensure all warehouse and storage processes meet daily requirements.

Ensures product flow and service are maintained daily, determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Supports the Outlet Manager with the management of the warehouse, salvage, operations and facility budget. Select, train, and direct the activities of employees setting expectations to provide an efficient, congenial, cost effective work force. Promotes productivity by following

up with employees on work results. Manages the warehouse & storage layout according to raw and salvage inventory and supplies needed. Works effectively & communicates with Goodwill departments as needed.

Upholds safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents. Maintains equipment according to recommended procedures and policies. Manage disposal of garbage, recycling and hazardous waste materials in a cost saving manner and according to applicable regulations. Conducts scheduled periodic inventories. Resolves workplace problems by addressing issues that impact

employee performance and productivity. Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.

Completes assigned projects by planning, organizing and monitoring for optimum results. Holds regular departmental meetings. Ensure the maintenance of all mechanical equipment according to recommended procedures. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwill's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Partner with People Relations as needed and appropriate. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse environment. Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience. Knowledge of production and warehouse facilities required. Experience with basic accounting practices and bookkeeping. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: Current Washington State Driver's License required and proof of insurance. Forklift Certification with Seattle Goodwill. Computer/Technology Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Teams. Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job. Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required sit for long periods of time, communicate with other employees by talking and hearing, required to lift and carry items weighing up to 30-40 pounds and to operate computer systems.

Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; standing for long periods of time; Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain). Extended standing on hard surfaces; ability to operate heavy machinery is a safe and responsible manner.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.
