Position Summary The Tile Warehouse Associate reports directly to the Showroom Manager and Assistant Manager and works closely with the showroom sales team and Tile Specialists.
The person in this position provides services for various departments within the company. An ideal candidate will organize and maintain all incoming and outgoing tile, unload pallets, organize our overstock tile shed, have a comprehensive understanding of all of Heath's tile offerings, and provide excellent service when assisting customers.
Responsibilities Maintain organization and cleanliness of the overstock tile shed and tile storage area Unpack pallets and move large quantities of tile Thoroughly sort, label, and box tile collections when necessary Assist customers in the overstock tile shed Be responsible for checking out tile customers Provide accurate information regarding tile
specifications to customers Help to load tile purchases into customer vehicles Who You Are Enthusiastic with great communication skills Strong follow-through Self-motivated Good organization skills and attention to detail Customer-focused; retail and POS experience a plus Excellent attendance Physical Requirements (Medium to Heavy) The ability to transport pallets of tile (up to 30 lbs.
at a time). Total weight lifted per day can be 3500 lbs. Other activities, including climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, repetitive motion, and grasping Work Environment/Hours/ Compensation This position is a part-time, non-exempt hourly role that works onsite at our Sausalito Factory & Showroom.
Must have weekend availability. This position pays $25 an hour. This role reports to the Sausalito Showroom Manager. Only Bay Area candidates will be considered. This person will be accountable for the proper handling, storage, staging and distribution of goods to the stores and the overall management of the company recycling program and overall warehouse logistics, as well as work the graveyard shift hours, primarily between 10:30 pm- 7:30 am. Essential functions Effectively coordinate the purchases and orders with current inventory, distribution and delivery. Provide leadership

Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience managing small receiving and distribution warehouses. Must have high school diploma or G. E. D. Must be certified in operating a forklift and hand truck lift, or successfully obtain certification within 1 week of start. Must be able to effectively communicate in oral and written English with customers, employees, vendors, and management. Knowledge of produce is helpful. Ability to speak Spanish is also desirable. Must have basic math skills. Must have
intermediate computer skills. Must be enthusiastic about food, particularly fresh produce.
Must have good hand-to-eye coordination and visual acuity. Must possess organizational skills. Must demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to succeed. Must practice personal integrity and be able to create a high level of credibility with employees and customers. Must maintain commitment to continued self and team development. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work graveyard shift hours, primarily between 10:30PM to 7:30AM. Compensation: Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000 Physical requirements: Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Standing: Up to 8 hours per day. Walking: Up to 8 hours per day. Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
