Main Ingredients of the Job As a US FOODS-- Night Warehouse Selector you will be responsible for prepar ing customer orders that grow our business, instilling and reinforcing safety above all else. We TEAM UP to deliver exact and damage-free orders. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS-- success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. What You Bring to the Table Able to work 8+ hour
night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required Recent experience ( within past 6 months ) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred Lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred Physical Requirements Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required Great Night Warehouse Selectors are crucial to the US FOODS-- team and one of the important faces of our organization.

Daily interaction with customers, face to face and over the phone. This position will also have warehouse duties. Duties & Responsibilities: Taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone Building
relationships with customers Ability to use company computer system to enter orders Complete sales orders and tender cash sales Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches Overcome objections of prospective customers Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy Prepare orders by processing requests: pull accurate materials and place in appropriate area for customer pick up or delivery; loading and unloading trucks as necessary
Maintain inventory controls through minimizing materials damage and ensuring order accuracy Be able to organize the warehouse and manage bin locations Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service Workers are required to lift up to 50 lbs, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed boots Ensure that equipment is maintained to company operating standards Must be able to think for yourself-problem solve REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED required, 4 year degree preferred Experience with forklifts Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be comfortable meeting the public Must be a team player, demonstrate attention to detail and have good organizational skills Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50%Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must wear protective gear and steel-toed boot Frequently, will move about inside the warehouse Must be able to operate warehouse machinery Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
