MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS AN ASSISTANT VETERINARY TECHNICIAN This pet care position needs availability to work any day of the week during any shift. Our most common shifts are 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM, and 11:45 AM - 6:00 PM. Additionally,
Our Assistant Veterinary Technicians take care of our boarding animals on alternating weekends (Saturday or Sunday) and are offered a 4- or 5-day workweek.
As an Assistant Veterinary Technician, you are an integral part of our pet care team. You diligently care for our boarding animals by cleaning cages and providing food, water, blankets, and medication. During treatments, you assist our vet techs by applying restraints, running lab work, performing diagnostics, and filling prescriptions. Always ready to lend a helping hand, you also assist with surgeries and anesthetizations. As a service-oriented animal lover, you help us create a supportive, caring environment that makes pets and
owners alike feel comfortable. You help us provide the excellent client service we are known for, answering any questions pet owners may have and always treating them with respect, compassion, and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT VETERINARY TECHNICIAN 1+ years of veterinary experience Ability to work 37 or more hours per week, including rotating weekends and alternating holidays Ability to commute OR relocate Animal handling experience would be a plus.
