Assure that specimen processing and testing performed are performed in a timely manner and are compliant with department policies and procedures, and accrediting agency requirements. Perform and practice preventive maintenance on equipment per department schedule.
Apply concepts of laboratory medicine and utilizes independent judgement and problem solving skills to ensure the accuracy of test results and proper equipment performance.
