About the Role: Reporting to the Logistics Manager, Thistle Truck Drivers are an essential part of our Fleet Team and ensure our routes' safe and on-time delivery to our Delivery Drivers.
Schedule 26-32 hours: Sunday 230pm-9pm Monday 3am-11am Wed 230pm-9pm Thursday- 3am-11am What you'll do: Load/Unload trucks and ensure products are safely stored using a forklift or pallet jack Stack, shrink wrap, and secure pallets as well as loose items for transport Operate Thistle 26ft trucks Deliver and distribute packages and products to delivery hubs in Bay Area geographies
Utilize smartphone app to route deliveries Ensure high-level and consistent communication with the dispatch team Practice FIFO principals Additional tasks, duties, projects, and responsibilities may be assigned as needed What you'll bring: High School diploma or equivalent required Commercial Driver's License (" CDL" ) required; ability to drive and operate a 26ft box truck required Delivery experience utilizing app-based software a plus but not required Must be at least 21+ years old Must have a working smartphone with data ability to utilize the routing app DOT Physical required Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally Must be a self-starter and
problem solver, able to work efficiently without direct supervision Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) basic routine maintenance for box trucks, reefer units, and forklifts A focused, efficient executor with excellent time management skills Truck drivers are expected to maintain a clean, neat appearance Friendly and personable Excellent leadership skills Punctual and thrive in a structured environment Able to commit to a regular schedule of 2+ days a week Comfortable driving at night and in inclement weather Must be able to pass an initial drug screen; consent to random drug screening Familiarity with the assigned geographical area$25 - $29 an hour The starting hourly rate for this position is $25.00 out of the pay band range of $25.00 - $29.00 and represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of the posting.

Under the direction of the Transportation Manager , the CDL Delivery Driver drive a gasoline or diesel-powered straight truck or tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products for Jordano’s Food Service Division. What Will You Be Doing? Performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures Inspects truck for defects and safe operating condition before and after trips
Transport load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations Safely unloads product and delivers into customer locations Collects payment from customers and records transactions on delivery receipt Listens to and resolves customer service and credit complaints Picks up any returns of rejected or unsold merchandise Performs additional duties as assigned, delegated, or required What Experience, Skills and Attributes Will You Need to Be Successful?
